remember the guests whom i mentioned in my earlier entry... they finally turned up tonight! and they were super nice... they didnt mind payin for the 2 no show limo charges + the rm charges for the very first night. they willingly paid for it. very nice elderly couple. fweeee...
anyways im having curry chicken bowl noodles now... and i suppose the system will be back soon enough. betta get going! :)

its been a rough night
when i started my shift the count was at -5 with only 2 preblks + 1 unreleasable OS rm. the situation was chaotic. there were 3 early deps but hskp cldnt do the rms in time cuz most of the c/ins came in early... *sigh* it was damn bad. and then 2 NS rsvns that i reactivated due to a call i rcvd in the morning before i knocked off turned out to be NS AGAIN! and to think i resent a limo to go and pick the guest now im at a loss of what to do. im really confused with the time difference btwn LA and SIN. i have no idea whether i miscalculated and the guest will come in later tonight or he's not coming altogether. Gosh... imagine boss asking me to pay for the 2nd NS limo becuz i arranged it. i swear to one and all who patronises my blog that i'll resign on the spot.
i think boss hates me after rebutting the ccmail she sent for our comments. i dun understand, here she is asking for our comments but there she is already fixated on what she's chosen to believe is right. if thats the case then whats the point of even asking for comments when u cant take it?! now i know y everyone chooses to ignore and not to reply...
maybe im really not suited for what i do... or maybe its just this place that stinks. i choose to believe the latter. i think we're all made for bigger and better things so this is to all my dearest chums out there... LETS GET OUT OF HERE SOON!!!! then we can go Bali on holiday together! hahaha *wide grin*

*yawns* the beginning of the graveyard shifts..
tonight will be my 1st graveyard shift and im not lookin forward to it altho there's suew workin with me cuz for tonight and the next 2 days we're gonna be full full house! irritating *grrr* dread graveyard shifts cuz i dont get any extra allowance and they also phased out the extra off day thingy so whats the point of us doin graveyard?? cheaterbugsss.
anyways i really wonder how come helmi can blog so often?? u go back after work everyday still got the strength to log on? and somemore u post so so many pics. i realised i dont have much time to upkeep my blog thats y its not very interesting. haha. furthermore my dearest doesnt like me to log on.. maybe she's afraid some stranger online will cheat me? :P
work has been bad.. as usual. contemplating to move up but afraid to make the move. *sigh* we shall see...

monday blues
an update for the past few days..
on friday after fidelio trainin with dearest, took a bus to bedok to have bar chor mee, chicken wings, otah and carrot cake for dinner. as u can hear, we were STARVING! i had a craving for the bedok bar chor mee thats y we travelled all the way there to have dinner. hee. after that very satisfying dinner we took a bus back to suntec cuz yl wanted to have a drink at paulaner's so tg, rt and me+dearest went. shared a .5 dark with dear. wasnt game for more cuz we were really darn full cldn't drink anymore. was not risk drinkin too much and then puke everything out, wasted trip ah!
sat.. i met up with an ex-oriental colleague for lunch while dear was having her fidelio training. went to suntec crystal jade and had dim sum for lunch, thereafter proceeded to axis bar at oriental hotel for coffee (initially we decided on coffee but ended up having a few bots of beer). heh. and so i found out she got a pay increment, bought a 1st-hand car (season parking at marina is only $125/3 mths!!), oriental is gonna sell their national day rm packages at $600+ cuz they have full view of the parade?! seems like everyone ard me is doin well.. when will it be my turn? i always believe every dog has its day... *pant pant* after that met up with dear for dinner she felt like having macky's but it was darn crowded so we decided to go watch a movie. bought tix for the shooter. nice movie! mark wahlberg's cute! and HELMI, no u dont bear any resemblance to him!! dream on! hahaha. so our day ended after the movie, rushed out and managed to catch a bus home. went home, knocked out.
woke up today at ard 12 cuz i was hungry. dear left me at ard 9.30 for her fidelio class. heard that they'll be back at the desk today cuz helmi ran out of stuff to teach already. thats fast. helmi next time u shall take on all those crash course classes. unlike me 1st class and high failure/dropout rate! how demoralising. im afraid to ever conduct a fidelio class again. dearest AMs, can spare me? pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaassssseeeeeeeeee?
sunday.. yday i was logged on to msn until norain logged on to while at work then she said she had something to tell me. since i was waitin for time to pass decided to meet her for coffee but she decided on chocolate fondue at max brenner's. so she had her fondue and i ended up with belgian waffle which was too much to finish. *pukes* it wasnt that good anyways. and so she was tellin me abt this new guy, that faizal had passed down instructions to treat him with TLC cuz he's sensitive? like issit my prob that u're sensitive, hey come this is a dog eat dog world. u dun really expect ppl to treat u nicer cuz u're weaker than the rest right? WAKE UP! a cue to all those out there who are plannin to take up a hospi or tourism course and that u have like a 60% success rate of joinin the hospi line.. if u dun have wad it takes for eg. u cant watch a gory movie with ur eyes wide open (this relates to the very ugly sight of guests slappin u with sarcarsm and spit when u can acceed to their requests) u dont have the guts to speak ur mind or take everything personally (this is when ur seniors start scolding the shit out of u) all these shld ring a bell for u to betta start planning to find something else to do! sigh... all that aside after max brenner's i went to meet my dearest for dinner and we ended up watchin another movie. sunshine. its quite good altho its not the kinda movie u can relate to the real world. worth a watch, i didnt even know there's michelle yeoh in it until the movie started. cool. ok thats all for now, need to prepare to head out for work... ciaoz.

im a gatecrasher!
and so i finished my graveyard shift peacefully without any big hiccups happening even tho its friday the 13th. *grins* i was feeling superly energetic so i decided to gatecrash into helmi's fidelio training class.. partially also becuz my dearest is in the class la. heehee.
we juz finished a smoke break and when i dropped by rsvns dept for awhile, came back to the classrm and realised the whole grp went missing. prob helmi brought them to view the rms without me. and so i went on my rounds on the 5th flr. dropped by to say hi to joyce yao, rt, yl, aw... :) came back from my rounds and they r still not back yet!! so i decided to drop by to blog.
stayin in the class cld do me good. the 1st fidelio class that i conducted 2wks back, dont think i did too well which resulted to have 1 drop out. sigh but i choose to believe its not me, i really think i was quite nice but maybe she juz cldnt blend in... so im here to pick up pointers and learn how to conduct a better class in future! heh heh as if..... betta get going i scared they come back and see me blogging, not very nice!! :P

here i am during my midnight shift and bored as can be becuz somehow i cant log on to msn messenger or i'll be chattin my life away with whoever's still awake at this unearthly hour. i decided to create a blog here becuz it seems like my fellow AMs (namely kak nor and pak mi) seem to have greeeeaaat fun blogging here. i do blog ocassionally thru friendster but unfortunately we cant access friendster while at work.
eeeeeeks its friday the 13th today!! luckily i only have like 4 more hrs ONLY before my shift ends and im off for the next 3 days, so far everything has gone well *touch wood* unlike yday. maybe during graveyard shifts, due to time difference it was bad luck yday instead? *shrugs*
juz when the inspiration came for me to whine more, the phone juz rang and system is back.. oh wells i betta get back to work or else my other 2 staff on duty will think im very slack (which in fact is absolutely true!) i had to work my ass off to get to where i am ok so till u get to my position.... SLOG ON PEOPLE! now im back to growin that fat ass of mine back. wahahaha ok i think im not thinkin very well anymore. till next time.. cheerios!
